BUYING AND SELLING
Every item we curate is selected for its craftsmanship, durability, and timeless appeal, ensuring that our customers receive only the best.
If you have items you would like to sell please get in touch and we'd be happy to give you a price.
We can sell your items on consignment—handling everything while you retain ownership until sale. We then take our commission (50% after fees, if applicable) and you receive your share of the profit directly into your bank account or in cash!

At Classic Curated, we combine respect for the past with practical solutions for the present. Based in Northumberland, we proudly serve homes, families, and businesses across Northern England and Southern Scotland.
Our work has two sides:
• Curated Sales – we carefully select quality, pre-owned furniture and household goods, giving them a second life through resale and consignment.
• House Clearance & Waste Removal – we provide a professional clearance service, handling everything from full house clearances and probate estates to tenancy turnovers and garden waste.
What sets us apart is our local, personal approach. We understand that house clearances can be stressful—sometimes emotional—so we work with sensitivity, discretion, and respect. At the same time, we're committed to sustainability: wherever possible, items are donated, resold, or recycled rather than wasted.

Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Hexham and cover Northumberland and the surrounding areas for house clearances and waste removal. For larger jobs we travel across Northern England and Southern Scotland.
Do you do probate and bereavement clearances?
Yes. We work with families, executors and landlords on probate and bereavement clearances, and we take special care to be considerate and hassle free so you have the time you need.
What happens to the items you clear?
Wherever possible items are resold, donated or recycled rather than wasted. Anything that can't be reused is bagged and taken to local recycling centres.
What kind of waste can you remove?
Garden waste, household waste, business waste, loft insulation, gutter clearing, bulky items and scrap metal.
Can you sell my items for me?
Yes. We can sell items on consignment: we handle everything while you keep ownership until the sale, then take a 50% commission after any fees and pay your share straight to your bank or in cash. We also buy items outright, so get in touch for a price.
